Guitars can be pretty expensive so a good case is a pretty sound and extremely important investment. There are two types of cases for both acoustic guitars, soft cases and hard cases. Soft cases are by far the cheaper option, but they provide very little protection, especially against knocks which could leave your precious guitar with a huge dent in it. Hard cases are more expensive but offer far more protection. Usually with an extremely hard exterior with a soft cushioning interior to lay your guitar in. Hard cases are the intelligent choice for protecting your guitar.
